Building up of a Culture

It’s been sometime when I started observing the behaviors of the people in the society; I always wondered how people just keep doing things which though look unjust? I always wonder how someone can gather such courage to take certain action which though seem very offensive to certain established rules. All such elements lead towards a long term failure. I once read somewhere “People who do wrong things never win in the end”.

 I always wondered how leaders have twisted things around and they always have some reasonable justification. I am calling it reasonable because they were always, one way or another, were able to sell it. You might have come across such situation where you just could not other than bite your tongue. I think there is one and only one reason for all these things that I have been wondering since sometime. In our environments we don’t have a culture of confrontation. Confrontation

Things happen, actions are taken, words are spoken and there is no confrontation, and results start getting persistent, things happen, actions taken, words spoken and there is no confrontation and results are accepted.  This keep on going and soon the acceptance convert into truth and finally, it shapes the truth into a belief. Once this belief has been established whatever people do, they think they are doing it right, in fact; they are using “Wrong ways of doing Right Things”.  Taking your “Right” is a right thing, getting it through discrimination is the Wrong way. These believe are our culture.

Until I came to IBM, I probably would have told you that culture was just one among several important elements in any organization’s makeup and success—along with vision, strategy, marketing, financials, and the like…

I came to see, in my time at IBM, that culture isn’t just one aspect of the game, it is the game. In the end, an organization is nothing more than the collective capacity of its people to create value

All those things, which are now part of our culture, you will find these at a different level or stages from persistence, acceptance, and truth and believe. Just because, we have not confronted these things on the previous level and just let it go. Most of the people just don’t conform because they think that the persistence of a particular behavior in a society is not going to impact him, but he is never sure when this persistence will become a truth and it will really hurt him. On the other hand, we have people do confrontation on the other side and pave the way for these behaviors.  Sometimes confrontation is discouraged by the people who are in charge or have any authorities, mainly because of the reasons that either they do not have enough courage to let their subordinates take the credit for something that they had not been able to come up with or they just do not have enough vision.

Where we actually fail when we establish such cultures? We fail when we take different opportunities in terms of the level of the above four categories. We never discuss things in their actual terms. We start ignoring the principles and become unreasonable. Reasons and Principles are two main pillar of focused and visionary leadership. Lose these Lose the Leaders.

What matter of men we are if we don’t have our own reasons?

Dealing, managing and retaining people is the biggest ask of the current society no matter what industry you are in. Did we ever have thought why people think of leaving? Studies tell us that most of the times people leave their managers not the companies. When we start letting people down by killing their idea, by ignoring their efforts and commitments by discouraging them when they take initiatives. This is the time when they make a decision of leaving you. So they make a belief on the other side and go for what they believed in. once this belief has been established they are is not feeling any shame, they do not have any fear. In fact, they have adopted a “Right way of doing Wrong thing”. For him it’s the right thing, for the company he is leaving is Wrong thing because at the end people are the asset of the companies.

This is our choice, either we start confronting  today to build a culture of doing Right things in Right ways or we can let it go to add one more brick in the building of a culture which is sooner or later will end up in a failure.

With reason you LIVE and with reason you DIE

It feels difficult. I wonder when Allah says I have made this religion easy, but it is always out of reach. I wonder when Allah says he is

“The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful” الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

But still people are suffering, they are devoting days and nights for Allah and on the same time they are in a state that if they had a chance they never have done this. They find escape routes just because they do this in a state of fear. After all this hardship Allah is still out of reach

Where we actually fail as a society? We fail when we discuss different behaviors in terms of the level of the above four categories. We never discuss things in their actual terms. E.g. wearing a certain dress will be discussed in terms of what is being worn by the people in the media, saying that “this is the trend we have”. Did we ever have thought how come a human blasts himself in a public place or in a masjid? He does it because the social injustice has gone through from persistence state to a belief state and none confronted it. So he made a belief on the other side and went for what he believed in. once this belief has been established he is not feeling any shame, he does not have any fear. In fact, he has adopted a “Right way of doing Wrong thing”. Taking revenge is a right thing, but taking the lives of innocents is a Wrong thing.

This is our choice, either we start confronting the injustice today and stop the building of “Right ways of doing Wrong thing” and at the same time we will be stopping building of “Wrong way of doing right things”.

The biggest injustice that we are doing is with Islam, the religion Allah says is the Best of all. We have done the injustice with the religion to let others inject there wrong practices and interpretation of religion leading the majority to follow rituals than actually knowing the purpose and knowing Allah himself. We have done the injustice with the most beloved creating of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and we have not realized him as we were supposed to be, rather we have made his so superior that we think he is too difficult to be adopted. Did Allah sent him to this world for this?
This is the mistake which Jews and Christians did; they thought Prophet of Allah cannot be human, so they made him (Prophet) God himself, or they divided the God in three, or they made a son of God.
Don’t we think that one way or other we are doing the same by developing wrong believes?

“It is You we worship and You we ask for help.”

There is no doubt that if there is anything important, superior, lovable, respectable after Allah, it’s the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. But it is after Allah.

Now the question arises, does it end at confrontation? Actually it doesn’t, if you are confronting please do not confront unless you cannot challenge it. All these challenges must be based on principles, facts and reasons. You cannot believe unless you can comprehend it yourself on the correct measures. Comprehension requires study, efforts, wisdom. Where we will get this wisdom? I believe Allah has given this ability to know the truth to all.

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know." And He taught Adam the names - all of them. Then He showed them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful." They said, "Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, the Wise."
He said, "O Adam, inform them of their names." And when he had informed them of their names, He said, "Did I not tell you that I know the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal and what you have concealed." And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.

We as human have been differentiated on the basis of the ability of knowing, we have been declared superior just because Allah has blessed us with this. It was not Adam himself as a creature to which Allah has asked the angels to “Prostrate before Adam” but it was that knowledge, that wisdom which Allah has given to him.

If we are not using that wisdom, that knowledge, that blessing to Know Allah, know the religion as Allah has wanted, we are for sure not confronting our illness of minds, our ignorance and our distractions.
What Allah wants? Allah wants to see who obeys, and who disobeys. Surely people do have the information about Islam, but there is surely a lack of knowledge.

If we are not confronting and challenging ourselves, are we not disobeying?
This disobedience has not caused us to reach at a state of humiliation we are in right now as Muslims? This disobedience has not made the purest religion on earth a question mark? Yes, surely it did.

Have we not forgotten to use this blessing, we would have fore sure the best people on the face of earth, we surely would have given this religion the respect, the status which Allah have wanted us from.

Confrontation is nothing but knowing things in reality by challenging with reasons based on knowledge. Confrontation is for no one but for “YOU”

With reason you LIVE and with reason you DIE

Fear, Expectatio​n and Believe

 

It had been a long debate, i wonder if we need to trade it of or compromise, i don't know the quantum of energy required to settle this machine we call brain. |I had put all my efforts and i am tired and torn out but i believe that i have gotten the answer.

It was always a difficult question of either i should fear Allah or expect Allah more. Either side you take, you will keep wobbling, fear will push towards Expectations and Expectation towards Fears. Expect more, wish for more, ask for more, demand more, envision, go beyond limits and all of sudden a feeling arises isn't this too much ? and a fear is invoked. more you achieve more probable you are to reach to this moment. If still you are not probability is even greater.
Once we move from expectation to fear, we start wandering in the smokes of fear and just could not hang to anything, lay off the wishes, lay off the visions, let go the enthusiasm, un bar yourself, get some space to breath, lay of the responsibility. Eventually we will blame others, curse them, and in this darkness and loneliness it will echo, you will listen to it a thousand times and you will accept it. an will lead us to a self prophecy of accepting and knowing. the more we accept the unacceptable, that we know more, we are going farther from self healing mechanism. Self Prophecy is a parasite, we live with it as much it does.

Use all your energy, brain, intellect, experience, knowledge and powers and nothing will work, Only believe guides you, keeps you walking, we do not get distracted by the results, either success or failure. Success will drag you towards expectation and Failure towards Fears. Believe will give you the prophecy of Acceptance of acceptable, that above all there is a supreme power which controls all the odds and evens.

It's only the believe that will keep us walking, keep you growing keep us Alive.

If you really want to Live [here and hereafter], Believe blindly (without any second thought or any logic or rationale because Satan can defeat logic) in one Allah and His prophet Muhammad SalleAllaho W'Alehi W'salam and follow his Sunnah and Allah will always take care of your fears and needs or expectations for both worlds, that is for sure bottom line of all philosophy.

How long we will keep suffering with this nostelgia that we have not failed?

Why dont we accept that our failures has nothing to with the resources we have.

we have failed on the grounds of morality, ethics, humanity. Where NONE of us is going to change himslef unless he himslef gets hurts.

we all keep doing the wrong things which give any smallest possible benefit without bothering if this is RIGHT or WRONG.

What has changed that we are saying we are not failed ?

we all stared paying TAX?

we all stopped corruption ?

We all stoped bribing ?

we stopped killing each others just for nothing?

we all started obeying traffic signals ?

we all stopped increasing the prices without reason?

we all stopped cheating?

we all EVEN have not started fearing Allah and praying at least 5 times.

I dont know what have changed. Infact We are doing WORSE than before and each day we are adding to in not reducing it

Saying this that we have not failed will not solve anything, as if you close eyes the cat will leave?

We are becoming addict of SELF Prophecies that will keep us alive in the world of FALSE HOPES.

If we don’t stand for something we fall for everything

He was very much shattered when he came out of manager’s room. His expressions were evident enough, he was looking around for someone who can understand, and, someone did. He stood up and went straight back to the manager’s room taking him along. He told to the manager if you cannot solve the issue with his colleague he would resign. Because it’s illegal and unethical as well to force someone to do an overtime, without being paid for that, and specially when he has a family member admitted In the hospital in critical situation. After someone time, he came out and resigned.
Many of the people laughed at his foolishness and rest kept silence, as it had nothing to do with them.

How many times do we face such situations where we need to take a stand? How many times we actually take a step to enact the humanity and morality sacrificing our own personal interests. This is because of this “personal interest oriented” life which is leading us to a social disorder. I only bother about things if it mattesMe or its bothering any of My interests or I am getting any benefit out of it.

This kind of behavior leads towards a disowner ship towards society and nation.

This is the basic difference, because once you start disowning something, you leave it for others to shatter it down. Why in our society people are being killed every day and nobody can find the murderer. Why in our society that people take bribe and people give it happily. Why in our society that we are given such a pathetic educational system and none has questioned it ever seriously in 60 years. Why the injustice is in our society, which is being protected by the judiciaries. Why in our society only a rich can become a politician. Why in our society fundamentalist started coming up from every corner of country all of sudden? Why in our society All the leaders of the leading political parties are being accused by one another [with proves] and none of them ever ended up paying for that?

All these questions have a very simple answer. “it has nothing to do with me”. I am not foolish, better I keep silence. And the nation has been giving this answer last 60 years. We cannot do otherwise because to do it otherwise we must need to know thatif we don’t stand for something we fall for everything. We have to show the courage the first time, we have to give sacrifice the first time, we have to say No the first time, we have to think of something other than I, My and Me the first time and it will be the last time as it will be followed by so many that you won’t get your turn again.
